Job Description:
Under the general direction of a Correction Lieutenant or other supervisory officer in the Department of Corrections during  an assigned tour of duty, oversees a unit within the Office of Training/Custody Recruitment Unit.  Responsible for and provides assistance and supervision in the development and implementation of all aspects of recruitment and training programs for the Department of Corrections.  Does related work required.

Education: High School Diploma or its equivalent.

Experience: Five (5) years experience in the care and custody of inmates in a correctional institution.

License:  Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey.

Note: Appointees to this position shall be required to qualify in the use of firearms on annual basis.
